Fee and Insurance
** I reserve a limited portion of my caseload for sliding scale/lower fee clients. Sliding scale will be determined based on need and fit. Please feel free to ask regarding availability of sliding scale fees.
INSURANCE
I do not accept insurance at this time. However, many PPO insurance providers provide reimbursement for Out-of-Network Mental Health Services. Out-of-network benefits vary by insurance plan and provider. Please check with your insurance company to see what reimbursement they offer for out-of-network services. Typically, insurance companies will cover 40-80% of the fee after the deductible is met.
Clients are expected to pay for each appointment out-of-pocket at the time of the appointment. I will provide you with a monthly superbill, which is an itemized bill that can be submitted to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement.
Some questions to ask your insurance plan regarding their out of network policy include:

- Do I have out-of-network mental/behavioral health insurance benefits?
- Do you cover Telehealth sessions?
- If they do, ask if they need to use a certain modifier (either 95 or GT) on superbill
- If they do not approve telehealth sessions, ask if there is any way you can obtain telehealth coverage
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- What is the process for me to submit claims for reimbursement?
